Chicagoland Hospital
BEC replaced two (2) Industrial Combustion D burners based on poor performance with low-load demands. Though data analysis, Weishaupt burners were chosen for replacement due to their high performance, high turndown, low excess O2, and high efficiency. BEC estimated that the initial gas savings to the customer to be 8.16% annually. Nicor gas post verified the gas usage using real time monitors and found it to be a 12.76% actual savings.
The customer stated that the boilers have never run better and can now handle their low load demands with ease. The energy savings exceeded expectations, and the boiler room is much quieter. They can now focus their time on other areas with less worrying about their boiler room operations.
